I have had my talon for about 3 month now and I can't seem to fiqure this one out. I own a 91 eagle talon tsi, it is basicly completly stock, I have had my door entery lights come on only 2 times since I have had the car. I checked the door switches (both sides) there fine, I have checked the dome switch panel, cleaned it, and that is fine, they work inside when turning switch on and the rear one works with the hatch open as do all others when hatch open <--grr! it works here. but if you open the doors it has only happened 2 times. This one is killin me and I guess you help would be nice :D also off topic but has anyone found a better or stonger then stock window motor?

thanks ODIE

1gs got that swtich to make em on/off/ or on+off with the doors -- ya got the right one pushed in? (middle i think)

Sounds like your not getting a good ground when you open your doors. The switch causes a break in the ground when the doors are closed, when you open the door, it reconnects the ground. Pull out the switch, and makes sure that the any metal it is connected too is not rusted. Or you could have a loose ground off of your battery.

the problem ended up being that the metal in the push sensors on the door was too coroded / rusted for the switch to work, machined new stuff 2 day at college damn easy but hard as hell to open switch
