dont do it urself. have a professional do it if u really want it to look good and not bubble.

takes time and if not done right will look like total crap. as far as exterior mods suchs as tinting , id rather pay $200 and have a warrenty on it than do it myself. looks really nice when done prof. make sure you check out local laws. some cops will give you hassle for having them too dark or even having them on driver side window. good luck

My buddy was able to do a window himself. It didn't look bad. Just time consuming. He ended up just taking it off and getting it tinted professionally. I had another friend...he had no patience, and ended up busting his window from getting frustrated, hehe.

where in WI are you at, there is a gret place near madison, tnt window tinting, they did my 2g for 160 its 5% the back window was done in one peice, no fricking strips. he also did a great job around the dot matrix at the top of the glass, dont know if a 1g has it or not. my pics are in the gallery you can see his work there if you want.

Tinting not hard, but the flatter the glass, the better. Your back window would be a b!tch. I won't tint rear windows unless they are almost totally flat or you buy a kit for that specific car. The thing about specific kits is, they cost anywhere from $125-$200. So I would say get it done professionally.

i had mine done professionally.... if you do it yourself you can screw it up, and there might be bubbles and stuff in it... thats what happened to my friend

I thought about doing it to my car so i bought some did it to my truck first to see how it would turn out. No good is how it turned out, just pay and have it done professional.

^ ^ ^ Same as all them. It's just an awful job, and waaaay too much work for those of us who don't do it often. It's kind of expensive, but it's money well-spent on a professional.

Take a look on here, it's interesting stuff:

And if the volume of information just on that site isn't enough to make you forget about doing it yourself, then all good luck to you.
