I would like to move the HVAC controls to under my HU. So far I have found 1 post about it.. but no info.

Does anyone know how the HVAC works? Is it vacuum operated or electrical? I am pretty sure that the int/ext air slider is cable and quite possibley the cold/hot selector also.

How does that section of the center section come off? Do I have to remove the entire dash in order to even remove the controls?

just start takin stuff off, grab a screw driver and a ratchet set...thats all ya need. take pieces off of the center section till you get to the controls themselves, with nothin coverin them. then take a closer look and see what the deal is with them...or you could just take your heat and AC out of the car all-together. just a thought. but since you live in NJ, it wouldnt be smart to do that, cuz you will freeze in the winter and scortch in the summer.

the hvac is almost god damn impossible to move, seriously, it would be way to muc work, its all cable operated, one guy i know of has done it is silvermissle99 , look at his pics, but he just took it out, and now he just has a slider for cold air and hot air, you cant adjust it to come out diffrent ways or recuriculate anymore...

ive seen a guy relocate his to his glove department..looked badass..
