im going to take out my 3 back windows and replace them with some lexan ones. ill have some pics when im done but if it turns out good i might try to sell some, and i just wanted to see if anybody would be intrested?

i dont know. i want to try to make it look close to stock. with out the rivits holding them in or if i have to use them find a way to hide them.

I have not done lexan on my own car, but talked about it few years ago with dan cokic of pruven. He told me that the rear window is cake to fit will since it's relativly flat. saved like 16lb the rear side windows didn't even save one lb each, and were a complete bastard to fit, since it's a compound curve (it curves top to bottom and side to side).. you can't bend lexan in 2 directions at once...so you will have water leaks in the rain and lots of air buffeting.

he said he wouldn't do it again even on another full race car. simply not worth the effort/cost to save 14 ounces.

Lexan scrathces super easily. You will be replacing your window every month on a street car. Speedglass makes a 1g kit already for DSMs that is molded for DSMs. It is a scratch proof lexan, that can even be tinted. CTCmotorsports sell its. www.ctcmotorsports.com

Overall, its not worth it unless its a full race car.

My friend had full Lexan in his Galant. I've never driven in it but I'm told it's noisy? Either way, it's really not worth it unless you're looking for every tenth of a second you can get.
