I see everyone doing tail light conversions. and well i am in the market for a body kit, but they only sell them for an eclipse, so it requires me to do some chopping for it to fit. all good. i figure hey while i am working on the body i might as well do the tail light conversion. so i was thinking and came up with Corvette lights. i see everyone doing skyline, and well personally that and the supra lights are over done. so what you guys think. and if you have seen it done got a picture? thanks.

Yes, it has been done. Dont have any pics though. I saw a yelow one in an old issue ofimport tuner, and i saw one at the car show at norwalk, the day before the dsm shootout. I don't like them that much. Something about mixing the imports and domestics just doesnt seem right. But if u like it, go for it.

phu pham's (?) spyder has corvette tailights..... it's the gray spyder in TFTF, the one with the yellow mitsu diamonds on it... and now it's painted yellow...

but IMO, they are too big for an eclipse, they just look out of place...

oh, in that pic posted above with the yellow eclipse, it looks like they just painted over the stock tailights and put a clear center peice, ... look on the far right of the tailight and it has that molding on it...

www.asylumms.com sells a rear body kit bumper made for talon tailights:thumb:

I would not buy anything from asylumms if it was the last place on earth. There customer service is terrible. I waited 3 months for stuff from them, still didn't recieve it and had to wait 2 more for the money return.

THOSE GUYS BLOW DONKEY D1CKS.

Checked out that Talon bumper. Not bad, but not my cup of tea. They did a pretty good job making it, but I like the look of the eclipses.

I agree. I think they look great on the vette, but it's easy to forget how much wider a C5 is than a DSM.

Funny that this topic came up. I replaced my C5 lights with the eurostyle red with clear turn signals so I have 4 stock corvette lights lying around. My eclipse is parked next to it so I tried lining two of it behind the eclipse and seeing if there is a possibility. Nope, the C5 is much wider and can accomodate those big elliptical lights on its rear. Might be ok for a widebody eclipse kit but with the stock body, it will not fit or if it does, they will be too close to each other.

I had seen hondas with the C4 circle lights, they look funny.
