NEED HELP Sideskirt question?

I bought these 99 sideskirts from a guy, but he didn't have the door caps. So I went through wings west and bought the door caps from them?
I think the doorcaps are for a 95-96 eclipse.
Will these 95-96 door caps fit and look all right with my 99 sideskirts.???
Will there be any difference? Do think people might notice?

They will look different.

The 95-96 have the little "dent" in them becasue of the way the sideskirts on a 95-96 curve down.

I'M ABOUT TO PIC MY RIMS OUT AND I'M NOT TALKIN ABOUT SPENDIN ALOT OF CASH HERE SO I WANT TO KNOW IF THESE STOCK RIMS WILL FIT ON A 95 GS.

BMW M3 18'S
LEXUS 17'S

ALSO, I KNOW THAT 300ZX RIMS FIT BUT CAN I PUT SPACERS ON TO WIDEN THE BASE WITHOUT RUBBING THE FENDERS-EVEN WHEN ITS LOWERED ALOT??

I'm not sure about the BMW or Lexus rims, but you could put spacers on to make the 300zx rims fit, it just depends on how much of a spacer you put on. The bigger the spacer, the more problems you're going to have down the road. By putting spacers on, you're going to put more stress on the axles, and the thicker the spacer the more stress. There are so many mustangs around her that have thirteen in. rims on em, and the tire sticks out almost 6 in. from the car, but I always see them in the shop getting allingment done, or new tires, or haveing there axles fixed and so on. If you do it right the first time, you may end up spending less now than you would down the road the other way. Just MHO.

how did this go from sideskirts to rim selection???

anyways, dont get the wings west caps. first off they are the 95-96, secondly, they dont have the mounting points for the grommets and they just give you some double-sided tape to stick them on with. i had some then sold them and got the 97-99

Yeah, I guess I didn't notice that until after I posted. Don't know much about the door caps, my talon doesn't have any. It will this spring.

Im getting my side skirts painted by a body shop right now. They should be on by next week. I bought the Talon Turbo Side Skirts from a friend of mine that changed his Talon to an Eclipse. We bondo'd the 16V DOHC Turbo that is on the side skirt, and sanded it down, good as new. I think the body shop is gonna touch them up, i should have them on by the first part of next week, i'll post some pics once they are on.

I KNOW THAT THIS ISNT PERFORMANCE MINDED BUT I STILL WANT THIS QUESTION ANSWERED. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF AN EPOXY OR FILLER THAT WONT CRACK LIKE BONDO WHEN SMACKED AROUND A LITTLE BIT? I WOULD LIKE TO FLUSH MOUNT THEM TO CLEAN UP THE BODY WORK A BIT. THEY ARE A LITTLE DAMAGED SO I WANT TO JUST COVER AND SAND IT ALL SMOOTH. I HEARD OF A GUY THAT DID HIS WITH BONDO BUT THE FIRST TIME HE HIT A BIG SPEED BUMP THEY CRACKED AND ALL THE WORK HE DID WAS OUT THE WINDOW. I'D LIKE TO AVOID THAT SITUATION BUT I WOULD STILL LIKE TO DO WHAT HE DID!! ANYBODY KNOW???? TRUST

well im not fixing a crack in the side skirts, im filling in the "16V DOHC TURBO" since my car is not a turbo, its not like they are going to fall apart, they have been sanded down and painted over.
