I have some extra black VHT niteshades paint left, and was wondering if its illegal or anything to tint your bumper lights.

i noticed that some body kits do not even have bumper lights in them, so thats why i ask

basically the amber would shine through at night, but during the day it would look as if i have no bumper lights... (see pic in my sig)

i dont think it would be a problem, those lights aren't really functional anyways in terms of signaling or stuff like that. plus, like you said, the lights would still be visible at night.

It's not illegal to have clear corners, they are DOT approved, as long as you use amber bulbs. Tint em, then pm me with some pics, I've been thinking on doing that myself, but want to wait till I get my body kit and the car painted black.:thumb:

Totally cool. Had the same idea. Let me know if you do it and how it turns out. Thanks
