Taking out Dash pieces on a 1G

Has anyone ever taken out the whole dash from a 1g? I searched for info and didn't find any specific directions. I'm really trying to get the piece "above the insturment pannel" off and the piece where your defoggers are. Anyone have any suggestions? Also does anyone have 2 talon center caps from the stock wheels? Let me know

It all comes off as one piece. I have taken mine out and it is a pain in the ass for sure.

Go to Schucks or Napa and buy a Chiltons manual. It will give an exploded view and illustration on how exactly each piece comes off, its cool

Thanks for the info. Is there one just for Mitsu? Or is it like 89-94 Mitsu Eclipse? Oh well, I'll find it. Actually I pass a NAPA on my way home from classes... I'll pick one up today. Thanks again.

It covers 1G and 2G DSMs (T/E/L) '90-'99. If it helps, theres is a green '97-'99 GSX on the front, and the volume/book # is 50400 (in the upper right hand corner on the front cover). Mine was about $20. Good luck
