I did some searching, and couldn't find a definitive answer, but basically will 1gb Eclipse Tail Lights swap into a 1ga Eclipse body?

I am pretty sure not. I think the 1GA is a bit less round around the edges, but this isn't from expirence.

You will need the 1gb bumper, and all 3 lights. You will also need to cut a section of the bumper support off your body. Wiring will need to be extended for the license plate lights and backup lights. It isn't really hard, just time consuming. IIRC, you don't even need the bumper support because they are the same. You may want to grab the wiring harness from the 1gb just make sure you get the wiring correct.
