Erm.... how do you adjust them with all that resin around them?

dont got a wider shot yet -- olny one side is done. the lights were aimed before the resin was poured in

No problem:cool:

I like the look of those alot. How much did he spend to make those? Time consuming? Has he thought about making a production out of them? PM me with more info. If he would I might buy a set off of him if he could make them. Thanks, Jake.

i made them- he just bought the fogs witch was the main cost factor. There isnt too much time involved, the main thing is aim'ing the lights before you set them in place. I dont think there will be any production of these assembleys. ( at least by me )

Great idea, but just doesnt look good to me. But I just need to see a wider shot. Then I might change my mind.

both sides installed with matching fogs -- theres 1 more pic on my page also

would a 92-94 hood fit onto a 90-91 if the popups were removed? i thought that the headlights on a 92-94 were a bit bigger so there would be a cap if u put a hood on a 90-91. those dont look bad at all man keep up the good work

Ya DAVE did all the work, all by his lonesome, I just sat there with my thumb up my ass ;) btw that's my car and the 3 sets of fogs cost 44 bucks a set.

He should slap on a 92-94 hood.

A 92-94 hood wouldn't fit on a 90-91 due to the headlights. What I am going to do is weld the pop up covers to the hood and paint the hood.

cool idea, my only question is how well does it throw light down the road? also is the beam pretty focused or a wide pattern?

I'll just say that I can see much better than I could with the stock headlights.

Just a little heads up on the welding. When you take the lids off the pop-up assembly you will find that it is a single piece of sheet metal with an edge bent down on the two sides that need welded. You want to bend the edges flat and that will fill the body line that was there for the headlights. You need to trim the two tabs that are for the lid to bolt up to the light assembly. Also use a mig welder cause with any open flame you will experience alot of warping. Just thought you would want a heads up because i wish i had one b4 doing this. If ya have any other questions i would be happy to answer them. Good luck.

Jeff, Thanks for the advice. But yeah Dave is right, the cops love hasselin me ( they know me by name). But as far as I can tell the cops have nothing to bother me about. They look the same as 3000gt projectors at night. But still I try to keep my night driving to a minimum, not because of the lights, but because I have no license ( for the 3rd time :( ) BUT YES to all you who are about to reply, I DID learn my lesson so no need to say anything :) .
