Im putting a system in my stock 2g gs eclipse and i have stock factory speakers and stock cd player. whats the best way to run it since i do not have RCA preouts on my cd player, what should i do:dsm:

Get an aftermarket cd player. You can easily pick one up for $100-$200 on eBay and it will blow the stock one away. IMO, a new cd player is always the first step in builidng a system...being that is the "brain" of everything. No sense in having a nice sub, amps, or speakers if you don't have the HU to process the sound clean and accuratley.

i 100% agree, although you can also get a converter that you wire your rear left and right channels from your deck and it converts to RCA, did that a few years ago and burned both channels... but a friend of mine did it in his focus and is sounds amazing... but definally the best idea is to pickup a new deck so you can have all four channels + your subs.
