hole in fire wall for system

were is there a whole in a 2g eclipse fire wall so i can wire up a system?

Theres a rubber covering at the base of the steering column. I cut a small slit, and pushed a coat hanger up through the firewall. I then taped the wire to the coathanger and pulled it through. Ive found that the best way to get the wires to the trunk is to take out the center console and the back seat cushion. all you have to do it run it throught the center and under the small piece of carpet and you there. good luck

an easier way to help the wires thru the thick ass boot is too just stick a small tube in there, it works better and easier

Another spot is on the passenger side. Thats where all my wires are run through. Works great cause its on the same side as the battery and its not difficult to get to because you don't have to get up under the steering wheel and all. I agree with the tape theory. I always used like a long ass screw driver and tape the wire to that. As long as its small wire you could use the tube idea 2 but if your running it for a system then its probably 8 or 4 Gauges. From what I understand 2G's have it easy getting at the passenger side hole behind the battery. Just pull the carpet back and reach up. The hole on a 1G is above and behind the blower motor and a real PITA to get at. My hands are still sore from fishing my feed through there.

my battery is on the driver side. not the passanger side

So run it along the firewall in the engine compartment or use the steering boot.

It's hard for me to tell from the manual, is their another hole on the driver side. It looks like there is.
