Is there any way to make a switch to turn off the angel eyes when you don't want them to be on so they won't melt. Or does anyone know how long it takes for them to melt exactily?

they don't melt because they're on, they melt because your highbeams create so much heat.

I have done this to my 2G and after its all said and done it isnt really workt the work time and effort. I ended up taking it out
