Currently I have some rims that are sticking out off the tires that are on them.
my rims are 17x7
my tires are 205/40/zr17 84w

So im looking to fix the rim from sticking out of the tire and I also want bigger tires because I dont plan on lowering my car so right now i have a huge gap.

im thinking 225/45/17 or 235/45/17
or changing both 45s to 50s. Can i get some opinions from you guys

Ok in that case I will probably stick with 225 but will 50 be too much rubber.

Basically now it is looking like 225/50 or 225/45

I want the gap lessened but I dont want it to look dumb
