Bent Hinges On My 98 Spyder GST

Hey guys wats up. Im new to this whole DSM movement and i have a lil problem with my convertible top on the GST i just bought like 3 weeks ago. Now i've looked around and found 1 thread that spoke abou the bent hinges and that they are an easy fix, but they don explain how or steps......Please Help

I had the same problem in my 97 Spyder. The right side convertible top control arm bent after one of the sheer pins in the left side motor broke. I repaired the broken sheer pin and replaced both control arms with an aftermarket convertible top repair kit that I found on Ebay for $80.

The top works great once again.
