DIY paint job

Hey guys my 95 eclipse is 3 different shades of white me and a buddy were considering buying a cheap paint gun from like ebay or someplace and doing a DIY paint job. We have seen some paint lines specifically for DIY paint jobs but didnt know how good they are. Is something like this worth doing or will it look like crap and be a waste of money? thanks

yea iv seen that thread but thats using rollers and rustoleum paint...i dont think it would work or do i even want to attempt it

I would not do it. I would rather buy some cheap car paint for my gun

Read the entire thread, the main guy ends up using a spray gun and his car is turning out beautifully.

Just get a cheap spray gun and a cheap single stage paint. You can get 1 gallon for under 100$ at eastwood, or paintforcars.com, etc

the $50 paint job is actually a good one.. well it always seems to cost more like $100 every time we do it. But it turns out great every time!! Actually going to be doing another one soon!

Or you can get a single stage urthane kit for 65$ and some primer and spray it yourself.
