Hey guys just need a few opinions. I am currently in the process of finishing my 2Gb front conversion. I plan to get a fmic hopefully by the end of this year/beginning of next, and want to know if i should cut out the top of the new bumper im getting or if i should leave it the way it is ? Also if i should install the fog light bezels or leave that area empty ? I dont plan on getting fogs just in case the question comes up. Thanks

Yes, cut the lip off most people do but then you also have to hack away a piece of your bumper support(I Did). Get fog light bezels even if you dont have foglights. I removed my foglights for the intercooler but lost one bezel and it looks really crappy compared to the other side that still as the bezel

+1 for cutting that front bumper and keeping foglight bezels :thumb: I was running a FMIC and didn't cut the mustache off and it didn't look good at all. After we cut the front bumper however... Awesome!

The bumper doesn't look finished without some sort of bezels. If you don't have foglights, I suggest getting the RS inserts, which are slighted rather than open holes. I use these on my 99 gsx as my fmic's endtanks are too big and required removal of my foglights. Looks good. I never thought the stock foglights were of any use anyway... pieces of crap.

Definitely cut the "mustache" hehe. It opens up a huge amount of surface area for your fmic, assuming you have an fmic sized like most of them out there.
