I am rather tall I was wondering how big the steering wheel was and what's the possible gain is from a puttin on a smaller after market one.

Questions.
1) How big is a stock 2g steering wheel?
and
2) How big is a stock 1g steering wheel?

The smallest I've seen aftermarket steering wheels were like 13in.

please respond if you can. I've been wondering for so so long.

the reason i want a smaller steering wheel is because the stock 2g steering wheel is too big for me I am 6"4' and if i got a spyder like i want i want to put a smaller one in there so its easier to move my leg.

Your so huge dude.

smaller wheels also provide quicker responce, and when you get used to it, ill tell ya, they are 100% better, not to mention for interior looks, it has to be the best thing. after all its right in front of you allways :p

automatics handle like crap, 5speeds, assuming your good, are nutts, i only got in one crash with my last dsm. a front wheel 91 eclipse turbo, went into a corner off a .5 mile straightaway, into the corner about @120 and , spun around 5 or six times and slid 100 yards into a field after taking down a few fence posts. walked away, all i needed was a drivers side door and new tires and rims(all bent and no rubber!)... 365 feet of skid marks the cops measured... i insisted i was only going 60, LOL. i would have made the corner, but i think i had low tire pressure, and i turned at the ditch, cause if i went at it sideways i would have rolled, and fliped quite a few times.

a genuine adreniline rush here let me tell you, very exciting... had my car fixed in 3 days, LOL

we race all the time up to mout greaylock. 1 lane roads, u turns, cliffs off to your right, at 50-70mph

with the right driver and a stick shift, IMO the handling is great

The downside I see to having a small steering wheel is that it can obstruct your vision of the instrument panel. I have that problem already with my stock wheel on the 1G.
