The color is BMW M3 Phoneix Yellow Metallic.

And the car is a weekend warrior car. I havent actually driven it in two years, and in the past 5 years ive driven it about 2000 miles if that.

I really like the colors. It's definitely show car quality. I don't see many 1g's that clean. I can't wait until I fix my other car so I can use my DSM as a weekend car.

Wires are all there just tucked. Relocated the fuse box to the glove box.

The tranny isnt installed yet. I have a full blown JNZtuning tranny waiting to go in. Im still mocking things up and redoing the engine harness to my liking. Once those things are done I can start installing everything permanently.

Sweet color and nice choice on the bov/wastegate/belt color I dig it. I wouldn't have gone w/ the green interior though.

I like the painted shaved valve cover, i was thinkin of painting mine after i was done shaving it but wasnt sure how good it would look painted.

How do you shave, will the triple blades work or 4 blades?

jp, what is it just heavy sanding to smooth it out?

I used a die grinder to get the high spots down. Then when you get everything fairly close then start sanding with like 60 grit sand paper and work your way up to like 1000 grit i wanted it real smooth so i went up to 2000 grit.

everything looks nice a clean :thumb:

Though the cast manifold sticks out like a sore thumb with all the cleanliness around it :shhh:

like the clutch too ;)

Nothing in the pic is bolted down yet. Just there for some fitment. The mani is going to get ceramic coated and then possibly wrapped. It does stick out like a sore thumb.

Eventually mid season maybe I can grab a tubular mani from somewhere.

Thanks for the comments guys. Its good motivation to finish.

Kind of like a slap in the :beatentodeath:

I like how the front mount is still in the bubble wrap.

No comments on the oil cap yet?!:D

LOL, this is a rare oil cap that Kyle got for me and one for himself. LUCKY find. But they were made for a civic/nissan screw in type oil cap. I did alittle tweaking and modifying to the valve cover and now I can use the better sealing honda/nissan oil caps. This cap will only be used for showing off as it is going back in the package it came from.

I was thinking about getting one of those cool MUGEN caps or something,LOL. Here are some pics.
