air to fuel gauge question

i have read almost all the post about hooking up an autometer air to feul gauge but i cant seem to find the tap behind the kick panel. i have a 90 GS. could it be under the all of the tape? pleas help.

Nevermind. I found it. Jesus is that wire ever hard to get to.
