Enkei J10s 16X7s, Bridgestone Traction TAs, 225/50/16s V rated, wheels are 17 pounds, bulldog lugs, I went conservative 16s instead of 17s because of the roads around here. I had 17s on it before and it beat the hell out of the car. These wheelset is going to stay on the car year round. I had the stock swirlies on it with firestone Firehawk 225/55/16s all season tires. The tires were bald as all hell and those stock wheels are so damn heavy!
My old tires were H rated and had a really flexy sidewall. i hadn't how they cornered. I would feel them go to their limit of adhesion and then feel the sidewall roll over. I hated them. I originally wanted to go with 16X8s but when it came down to time to order wheels I had a really hard time finding 16X8s that anyone had in stock ready to go that weren't crazy pricey. I also wanted to go 235/50/16 and that was what i ordered but 225/50/16s were what go delivered. I put them on since I was too anxious to have traction again. At highway speed I can really feel a difference with how fast the wheels accelerate. My old swirlies were powder coated black. my Talon is white with a black top. I wanted wheels that were solid black but again what was actually in stock differed from what was in the mag advertisement. I didn't want a silver lip but now that the wheels are on the car I am diggin it! I like the detail on the machined lip so I'll get used to it.

I have Brembo slotted rotors in the front with EBC green kevlar brake pads, SS brake lines, toikiko Illumina adjustable struts front and rear, powerstop crossdrilled cadnium coated rotors in the rear again with EBC green kevlar brake pads and SS brake lines. Currently my car is sitting on stock 99gsx springs but I have a set of H&R springs sitting in a drawer in the garage that will go back on the car this spring. I have too much fun playing in the snow to have it lowered in the winter. I also have upper strut tower braces front and rear with upper polyurethane strut mounts. The tires have made a huge difference int he performance of the car. Quick lane changes at speed on the highway are effortless and instanteous! Cornering is way better! Next spring I am going to put on a new set of sway bars front and rear.
And I love that at highway speed the wheels appear to dissappear. Thin ten spoke design! Love it! I catch a lot more people looking at my car now than they did with the stock black colored swirlies. One of my swirlies got dented by a run in with a curb and could no longer be balanced. I don't like attention from the police but i don't mind attention from other car guys/ gals. I put a lot of time, energy, effort and money into this car. Almost all of my mods have been for performance and i have done very little do the outside of the car so unless I open the hood most people have no idea what's been done to it. Except for the wheels now. it's a total sleeper.
These are all just observations...No tech questions. No intention to offend anyone. So a couple of weeks later i am very happy with my wheelset! The last time my car was shod in sticky rubber with 17s was before I had anything but lowering springs on the car. This time I have all the suspension work done, H&R springs front and rear, strut tower braces front and rear, with toikiko Illumina adjustable struts front and rear with top polyurethane bushings. It corners amazingly well now! And i can really feel the difference in the lighter rolling stock at speed on the highway! I'm a happy camper.
At this point with an all time snow record fall year I wouldn't even be able to get down my street with the Talon lowered. They don't plow secondary roads all that often and don't use salt. I high sided my my last year when it snowed hard. We've had a bunch of snow storms that dropped 12 plus inches of snow this year. It bashed the hell out of my original 2Ga front clip. I look forward to driving in new snow though so I can't complain so much.

Your car is a 95?! where'd all the 2Gb Talon parts come from? I'll have to look closer at your car.
Super grippy! I like being able to accelerate on packed snow and ice! Great cornering! very grippy!
Even though they are 16s they have a ton more clearance in both directions so I would be able to put larger rotors and possibly better calipers on the front! The longer I have them, the more I like them! The next set of tires that go on will be 235/50/16s. The stock swirlies are staying in the garage. I might sell them, Probably not much desire for them. I haven't seen many 16 inch wheels with this much room inside the wheel. When these brakes wear down/ wear out I wanted to replace them with larger rotors and possibly four piston calipers but the cost of new wheels would suck. This way all I have to do is buy the brakes. I had never seen these wheels on anything before but now I have seen them on four other vehicles around town. One of those was a one of those slippery looking Mercedes Benz station wagons. I can deal with that.
