How to make HVAC controls electronic.

I was wondering if there is a way to make our manual mechanical controls for the hvac system into electronic. Why you may ask? Because i hate being cold and but like having my boost gauge right where the heat knob is. And i was going to make the rest into gauges as well. It looks so stock if done properly. I will post up a pic to get an idea.

I've always wanted something like that. Digital controls are so much nicer. I wonder if it would be possible to hook up something like this

In cars that have this, how does it turn the electronic process into a mechanical? Esp. on our cars?
