Headlights for 1G

My headlights on my 1G Eclipse have begun to turn yellow...I was wonderin if anyone knew of a place or site that I could order some new clear headlights from. Another thing, I broke my ashtray thing next to the cigarette lighter while cleaning it up (I dont smoke). Was wonderin if anyone had any idea where i could either find a new one or if they had an idea where i could put something entirely different in that little slot. Thanks for you help.

mine were yellow too. u dont have to go out and buy new ones. what i did was used Crest Extra Whitening toothpaste (the one with the crystals). thats right, toothpaste. i just took a few loads of it and brushed it on there like i was brushing my teeth. brushed for a few minutes and whiped it clean.it restored my headlights better than i expected, theyre probably like 80% back to normal.

what year is your car?
if you have fixed lights, toothpaste or a fine cut auto polish will help clean them up.

if you have flip-ups, i would suggest upgrading to the euro code H4 housings. i just ordered some from Susquena lighting for about $100 (new Hella housings, wiring harness, H4 bulb). this will let you swap out bulbs without buying a whole new housing each time. plus the hella housings and lenses are much better quality and beam pattern...

I broke my ashtray as well. What I did was made a small piece of aluminum for mine to cover the hole. Check it out........

Thanks guys, those ideas for the headlights should work fine. That piece of aluminum will also compensate nicely for the broken ash tray.
