And yes I know that pic isn't a dsm LoL...

VHT Nightshades is an option. You can spray it on as dark as you want.

I hope you know that when you put VHT niteshade on any surface other than red or orange, it actually lights up red. Yes it tints things black, but once dried it is actually red when a light has shined upon it. I tinted my bumper lenses once and when I turned the lights on, everything was red.

So I was thinking about this last night as I was trying to go to bed.... If you have a 2ga bumper and buy some halo/projectors off ebay and they are retarded and dont know the difference when they say they are for a 95-96. So you wind up w/ the gap because you have 97-99 headlights w/ a 95-96 bumper, you could probably use these plastic covers to cover that gap! ( Just a thought ### i had that gap for a while on my GST )

Nah. I would hate to ruin a perfectly good set of lights with some spray on mess. What i'm trying to make will only be used on days that I feel like playing. And I doubt anyone around where I live would mess with my vehicle. =)

So, if I were to spray the VHT onto the INSIDE of the headlight covers, when I turn on the headlights they'll have a shade of red??
I need to re-silicone the headlights anyways, so i thought this would be an interesting project.

So you're saying if I sprayed some VHT on some clear side markers they would give a red glow when lit up??

Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks :thumb: As far as the nightshade spray stuff... I don't want this to be permanent.

If you do purchase them let us know how they fit and the quality of them. I'm thinking of getting a set for the other car.

Yes, it's true. It would be a bad idea to use the color red on any lights at the front of the car. Did you know it's illegal to impersonate a police officer or emergency vehicle? Just buy the covers if you really want the look, dont use nightshades.

Well I was thinkin about puttin it on side markers which to my knowledge they don't make pre-smoked.

Ebay, I had headlight covers on my 06 ram and someone stole them, fyi very easy to take off(velcro-ed on) so don't be surprised if it happens

-as stated by moto-x, sorry didnt see you posted that.
