hi guys,

Does anyone know where I can get a 2 inch plastic "box or fill in unit" that will cover up the nice hole I have below my new stereo? I know they sell it in kits for about $20, but was looking for a cheaper route. Any ideas??

don't be a cheat, buy a small piece of plexi-glass (about $1 or $2), cut to fit and paint to desired color... Glue in if needed. :)

another idea i did was get plexi.... cut it and then i put switches for my neons in there so its right under neath my cd player and is at easy acess. then after i got done with all the neons i made it so i could slide it in and out just incase some wires came loose

I did the plexiglass thing as well. I cut it to size, made a hole for my turbo timer, and put some black vinyl on the outside to make it look nice:

I JB welded some metal brackets to the back so I could screw it into the same thing the deck screws into:

ill get pics of what i did. but i did the plexiglass idea with a twist. i taped off a mitsubishi logo then painted it black. once it dried i took off the tape. i now have a clear mitsubishi logo in the middle of it. so then i put a small red neon light behind and a little under it (so u cant see the actual light) and it casts a red mitsubishi logo glow into my interior. looks neato. but now my cigerrete lighter stopped transferring power, and the neon doenst work no more.... how ###. anybody know what happened to the lighter? if so tell me how to fix it. (fuse is good)

the plug might have came loose, or you may have to go buy a new lighter...they arent that expensive...under 10 bucks, depends on what kind your car uses

hey all...i was just wondering...im wanting to do what bryan_tberry did pretty much, but with an Eagle logo. any ideas on how to do it? also, think itd be better if it said Meef? or would that be tacky? hit me back asap!!!

if meef has some "real" meaning towards you, im saying besides just your user name, then id say go for it, sounds really cool, the eagle logo maybe a bit harder than a mitsubishi logo, but if you can find a logo online or something print it out, and bring it to a place that makes those ricey vinal stickers, have um print it out onto the vinal, stick it on the plexi and then paint it, then all you got to do is peel the sticker off, who knows maybe you can even use the "sticker" when your done
