Hey guys, I can't seem to find anyway to make my sidemarkers clear white, or anywhere to buy them. Does anyone have any links to guides or suggestions on sites where I might be able to find this information?

have you tried ebay yet? i thought there was a way to pop the orange part of the side marker out...? hmm i might have to check out my buddies car.

You can do the oven trick and pry out the yellow lens from inside the assembly, or buy replacements... be aware that the former method you'll be able to see the bulb, so the eBay replacements might be a bit better option to keep it looking clean and professional.

No, flint. That's not what he's looking for. Those are those crappy turn-signal fender repeaters. He's looking for something like these:

Yea dude, I have a 2g and I just did the oven thing a week ago.. It may seem hard at first but its really easy and you can clean the inside and outside of the headlight lense thoroughly while your at it.. Just make sure not to put the headlights in there for TOO long.. Im not sure if the 1gs are the same but for mine I put the oven on 230 and left the headlight in there for 3mins 45 seconds and they came right apart with no melting.. cleaned them up removed the orange in the blinker and put them back in the oven and pressed them back together...pretty easy for the most part..

p.s. if you do do the oven thing, remove the headlight bulb before you put it in...all the wiring harness can stay though

I've got a little spray tint on the inside of my clear stock lights and you can barely see the bulb at all. It's a pretty reasonable solution. Also, I used a hair dryer instead of the oven. It takes a little longer and you have to be careful not to break the lens, but I just never liked the idea of putting plastic parts in my oven.
