Well finally my seats came in today and I couldn't wait to get them in. He sent me the universal brackets that it had came with but it wasn't going to even be a close fit. I took my stockers out and did some measuring and thinking and drinking. Mostly drinking to be honest and I came up with a plan. I just used the exsisting rails and basically drilled new holes and modified one of the slider rails. I need to go to the junkyard and get 2 more sliders since it takes 2 to get the one seat in that's why only 1 is intsalled at the moment. Here are some pics

I measured and drilled some holes and here is the location. There is 1 at each end just like the stockers. I used the original nuts that my stocker was on with some loctite.

Here is what it looks like bolted down on the seats. Now your wondering why I have 2 slider handles on there instead of one right? Well have no fear I just took of the right hand side slider so there is only one slider handle and it's just as easy to access just like the oem one. I even measured and it will bolt down to the oem locations but let's double check first with a cold one!!!!

Here is the finished product and lucky for me the stock bracket/slider mounted exactly where the stock seat was so all I had to do it tighten down the 2 front nuts on the studs and tighten the 2 back bolts to the floor and voila that bad boy is in place!!

What do you think? I am very happy that is cost me 0 dollars for brackets or any type of hardware or asking around for someone to fab something up or pay for welding. I must say they are very comy and I think they will be fine on long trips. They are lighter then the stockers and contour to my body just right. Now I just need my motor to take them out for a spin!!!

I did the same thing on a 2gb... didn't work! The way our stock seats are designed, makes the sliders impossible to use almost... I mean you can use them, but the seats almost touch the roof!

With my new seats, I'm just going to use the aftermarket sliders... and make a bracket to bolt them up to that will bolt to the stock location on the floor.
