I used to have a 94 talon es. the plastic panels on the outside of the doors kept coming off. also my driver side door kept getting misaligned and i couldnt open it all the way)the door would hit the front quarter panel) so I was wandering if this is a common problem with 1g s? I am buying my third talon this week )1994 tsi awd) and i was wandering if I should just take off the plastic panels and repaint the doors on it,or should i just believe that the problems I had with my first talon were individual to that car?

on my 99 gs the passenger side door "molding" is coming off. its on the lower half of the door.. kinda pissin my off.

you mean the door cap? use the strongest glue you can find at homedepot and fix it, thats how you REALLY are supposto fix it

Use epoxy, that's what the body shops use.

Industrial 2 part Epoxy, Liquid Nails, JB quick, Super Glue (I do not recommend SG! ). Take your pick.

I have tried numerous things, nothing has worked yet. I never thought of liquid nails though. I bet that would work really good. I once glued a CD case to the wall with that stuff to see how strong it was. Needless to say it's still there!
