Yeah, i'm a pretty big newb to the DSM world but have a quick question...(i did do some searching about my topic but to no avail)

Basically i picked up some nice A4 wheels but i was wondering if they'd actually fit my talon esi. the bolt pattern is 5x112.
I kinda' doubt that they'd fit since i think the pattern on dsms are 5x114?
But i just wanted a confirmation before i scrap them or whatever...

P.S. I was just told by someone I work with that the Ralliart radiator caps are actually a performance mod! OMG

I've tried putting 4 x 100mm wheels on a 4 x 4" (101.6mm) wheel hub and it didn't work out and they both used the same diameter wheel stud. Give it a shot, you won't hurt anything.

I tried putting rims on my eclipse off my friends audi a4 and they wouldn't fit because the bolt pattern is different as you mentioned.

yeah, figures that these didn't fit. mehh, i might have to actually buy some rims ###' my steelies are just sick to look at. it sucks to not have money...:toobad:

Omg, when i was trying to sand off all of the rust on my rotors (they're vented!) i tried the A4 wheels on just to check and make sure they didn't fit but they actually did! So then i proceded to put two on and then ran into a road block...one of the lugnuts won't come off. It seems as if it was put in on a slant when the nuts were put back on. Is there a way to actually straighten it back out and then take it off?
maybe a hammer???
any other suggestions???

Yeah, that means they don't fit... Even if you got the lugs on... how would you know if its centered? You need to get the right spacers with the diference on the bolt patern... before you try forcing things. Cause you'll have massive lug issues and thats not safe. Trust me I know all about lug issues!

Well, they actually did fit, all four and they're in there tight right now, no movement on them (they're straight to the back of the hub. But i guess the tires need to be balanced since my steering wheel is vibrating now but what i was saying is when i was taking off the original winter wheels the lug got stuck on the stud so when i twisted it off with all of my weight it just broke off. But the stud breaking doesn't actually have anything to do with the audi wheels, just the dumbass who put the lug on a slant...:notgood:

but i am going to get those tires balanced and hopefully do the stud too.

hopefully they need just balancing and it doesn't actually need spacers or adapters...

Well... Its always fun to get new lugs in there! Seriously tho... I'd be careful... If the bolt patern isn't right... I'd get something to make it right... instead of puting it on anyways...

Seriously you don't want what happend to my wheels to happen on the freeway. The reason your vibration is most likely a centering issue. The reason why aftermarket wheels need Hub Centric Rings.

My first problems were with aftermarket wheels... no centric rings... my second problems were oem Sebring wheels with the wrong lug nuts. So everytime I'd accelerate, it would put excessive torque on the studs.

Your lugs are off being centered into thier holes by .002mm That could be enough to screw shit up.
