my head lights have a film over them but its from the inside. anyboady know what will clean the film off. mean green maybe?

I dont know about inside the headlight housing but I recently cleaned up my fogged up headlights with GOJO Hand Cleaner. It was the outside that was fogged up/had that film over it though. I was shocked as hell when it worked. Most people also use Brake fluid but I've never tried it though.

brake fluid huh? thats a lil evil since that stuff eats through everything, but it may acually work. maybe much more easy to have the brake fluid take off the first layer of crape then buff it back. I'm going to have to try that.

Brake fluid as you said eats thru anything. dont you guys notice when your headlamps are wet, they dont look foggy? Thats what brake fluid does, it keeps them wet, but as soon as it dries in a couple of day you will see the fluid has destroid your lamps even more!

Soo i would say thats a nono

I once had this special cleaner for oxidized/faded headlights.. It's some sort of plastic cleaner, picked it up from the auto parts. I used it for the outside i don't know how much you can squeeze in there to clean the inside.

I used "plastex" or something, its in a black bottle. It cleared up the foggyness ALOT, hoever there is still a slight yellow tint to the plastic.
