ok so i repainted my interior (i.e. door panels and such). the door panels have been drying for about a week cuz i went on vacation. so tonight im about to reinstall them, and they are pretty sticky. i dont remember em being this tacky when i left.

any sugestions from you guys on this situation? i dont want my doors to be constantly covered in dust and fuzzy crap cuz they are sticky.

is there any other clear coat i can put on them to eliminate this? i already clear-coated them so im not sure. anyone else have this problem after they painted? thanks.

I've clear coated everything but the vinal that I painted in my car and I never had a problem, did you clear coat it while it was wet?

i didnt clear-coat it while it was wet. but the doors are vinal, and i did clear-coat them after i painted them with vinal paint. maybe thats the problem. i guess i better hit em with the black again. thanks guys.

Did you use two different types of paint? If the paint that you used was made for regular applications, and then you used a different type of clear coat for say, engine paint, the chemicals in the two different types of paint won't bond. Infact, you would need to strip all paint off and start over. I also clear coat all my interior pieces, just make sure that you use the same brand paint as the clear coat, and they are both for the same purpose. Never mix and match.
