Time for some Nakayama projectors... they are for a 97 eclipse i have a 96 talon...

I was always under the impression that if i got 97+ headlights for any 95-96 dsm then there would be a gap, but recently I have been hearing that talons are different... what is to be believed?

If i put the 97 projectors in my 96 talon, will there be a gap?
If so, how big?

Thanks.

All 2G Talons (95-98) use the same headlights, unlike the Eclipses, which changed to the "different" type of headlights 97-99. The Projectors you mentioned are of the Eclipse 97-99 variety.

If you mount the 97+ style headlamps in a 2G Talon with stock front bumper, there will be a gap between the inside corner of the headlights and the bumper cover, I think its about an inch or so. The Talon/95-96 Eclipse headlight is slightly longer and more "curved" on the inside line, where the 97+ (and projectors) are angled more sharply, which creates said gap.

The solutions - stick with 95-96 Eclipse style headlights, get the projectors and live with the gap, or get the projectors and get a new front bumper, either a bodykit or do an Eclipse conversion.
