Painting lower lip/rims, paintless dent repair tips

Alright, so, I am going to be attending the Carlisle Performance and Style show in May, and I have some little things to finish up on my project before I go. First of all, my plan is to re-paint the bottom lip of my 95 GSX, and also paint my rims to match (17" 2000+ Eclipse rims). My idea right now is to do gunmetal on both to give a nice stealth look, but I'm also open to other ideas. If I went gunmetal, it wouldn't look too different, but if I went with, say, bronze or something on both it would definitely be different but I'm not sure how it would look. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Also, I have one dent about 3-4 inches in diameter on my driver-side rear fender, going from the edge of the wheel well up. The dent actually starts right on the lip of the wheel well and goes up, so I'm sure there will be a little crease left on the edge of the well, but I think I'm going to try to get that dent out myself. I would have my autobody buddy do it, but he is busy right now and has no time before Carlisle. So, does cutting out part of the wheel well and popping it out sound like the best idea? If not, I also thought I could drill a hole in the door jamb area and get a metal rod in there and massage it out, but cutting the wheel well would probably be the easiest I guess.

Thanks guys, any ideas will be appreciated. I love the look of a stock 2g, but maybe something not too wild color-wise would set-off the car.

Hmmm, I dont have an oppinion on that. I like silver trim to be honest. But I'll see ya at carlise!! woot!
