Are you sure its not the hood? The lines from the hood don't look straight to me, but that's my 2 cents...

Plus we may need a straight on shot. The pics are kinda decieving...

I'm only a 1g guy but when i had my 2g... i thought a bolt connected to the bottom of the headlight housing... maybe thats causing the sag. Also is it a knockoff oem replacement?or was it shaved down? i don't recall that center area *rounded triangle* being that flat.

Judging by the smooth center emblem area, Id say its an aftermarket bumper.

The hood does appear to be up slightly, but this wouldn't affect the gap under the headlight.

One thing you could check, since you just installed this bumper I assume you had the headlights off, would be to make sure the headlight is properly seated back down where it belongs. I have seen this happen before where the headlight seems to fall into place and bolts up fine, but is actually not all the way into its spot which causes the bottom to stick front a little and lifting the whole assembly up slightly. Also, in the left side picture it almost looks like the bumper is not all the way tightened to the fender. This may just be the picture though. If it is an aftermarket bumper, it is possible it was cut wrong when made and will not meet the lights correctly. On my original Talon bumper on my 95, the bumper was sagging under both headlights. I tried a few things until finally came up with a somewhat easy solution. I pulled both headlights out and used some small peices of wood to "push up" the lip of the bumper from underneith (on top of the bumper support) until it met the lights correctly, then tightened them back in place. A little ghetto, yes, but works great and no one can tell there is wood in there.

the bumper is an OEM replacement from chrysler and i did not remove my headlights to remove bumper( i broke those tabs previously pulling my headlights off to "mod" them). the hood is off a lil but thats b/c its open in the pic, which would effect under the headlight anyways.

Have you checked your headlights for proper alignment. driver side headlight looks to be pointing up a bit. Your bumper looks straight with the fender. Try loosening the single 10mm bolt ontop of the headlight and drop it down / pull it forward a bit. You might have to play with both headlights to get them aligned. There should be around a 1/4 inch beneath both headlights.

His bumber looks different from a factory bumper because the eagle emblem has not been glue on.

yeah, when i ordered it from chrysler this is the way it came

I've had my bumper cover off a few times, the first time I had a similar problem.

It is pretty obvious the bumper is not flushed up against the fenders. Loosen all the fasteners, push the stay back as far as it will go and tighten while holding it back to lift the front. The bolt under the headlight, lift on the bumper when tightening. Tighten the bumper-to-fender bolts until it is flat against the fender, then install the rest of the fasteners.

I did it with a wood plank and my scissor jack, to lift on the bumper while snugging everything down. Perfect fit.

My front bumper was off a little after I installed my fmic. i just used a couple zip ties and made a few brackets and it fits up better than ever now!

well i had one bolt per side that i had to drill out (where bumper mounts to fender) once i did that ran some new bolts in there and now that everything is flush it appears to be my headlight that is angled a bit. once i correct this (about 1/4 inch) we should be perfect :)

are those 95 headlights or 97-99?, cause if they r 97-99 eclipse lights then they wont fit that bumper and that might be it

yes, yes they are
and by the way i had the bumper support off, so i tried putting the bumper back on with the support and it wouldnt fit. i then pulled the bumper back off and pulled the foam off the support and it bolted on like a glove. i dont know what im gonna do when i get my front mount

you can tell the headlight angle is a lil off but thatll be fixed soon

Thats kinda funny about the bumper hanging under the driverside headlight.. My 2gb eclipse bumper is doing the same exact thing.. Weird.

Ditto that. I have as well, but the only Talon front end I found was on ebay, 3 states away, and they wouldn't ship it.
