I'm thinkin of takin off that little "fin" on the back of my 96 talon, because to me, it looks sort of goofish. Its not entirely bad, but I can't be completely sure what the car is gonna look like after i take it off, because of the rear window wiper. If anyone has some pics, and instructions for takin it off, i would appreciate it. Also, post ur thoughts, whether i should leave it on or take it off.

Its pretty easy to remove. Just take the wiper off, remove the plastic pannel from the bottom of the hatch and you'll see about 5 nuts that hold the spoiler. Remove them, unplug the brake light and give the spoiler a good yank, its held in with 2 pin clips and heavy duty velcro too.

You'll be left with a lot of holes in the trunk. To properly get rid of the holes you should have them welded shut, but to do this you will have to remove the rear glass because the heat from welding will shatter the glass. Its an expensive process to get rid of that lip spoiler.

Can't ya get away with just epoxy-ing some thick sheet metal to the underside of the holes and then smoothing out the top with Bondo?

You could. I didn't suggest it because I've seen it happen where the epoxy lets go, the sheet metal moves and the bondo cracks, then the cash you spent having the trunk repainted goes down the tubes.
