I need to get a new hood, headlights, and fenders for my 95 talon. I was wondering if 95 eclipse parts would fit seeing as there are many more of those?

Yes all of those parts off of a 95 eclipse will match up perfectly, no worries. :thumb:

95-96 eclipse and 95-98 talon use the same headlights and you can interchange the bumpers.

97-99 eclipse use different headlights and if you decided to change to a 97-99 front bumper you would need the headlights.

All hoods and fenders will fit any year 95-99.

No, the 95-98 Talons use a different bumper (front Fascia)... The 95-96 A Talon model is just like the 95-96 A Eclipse model, but the 97-98 B Talon model is totally different from the 97-99 B Eclipse model. The Front, Side, and Rear Fascias are totally different. The tail lights, headlights, turn markers in the back, all different...

Yeah no kidding they have different rear ends and sides but that wasnt the question, also I never said that the 95-96 eclipses, 95-98 talons have the same bumpers, I said they have INTERCHANGABLE bumpers because they use the same headlights.

Ok but most people don't want a gap between their bumper and headlights. I am not going to tell this guy the 97-99 eclipse headlights fit any talon or 95-96 eclipse bumper perfectly, because they don't.

I didn't say they did either, but I do have 97-99 headlights in my 98 Talon, and the only things is the thumb wide gap in between the head lights... so what? They are 1/2 an inch shorter... you dont even notice it unless you know about the differences...

The difference is very noticeable. And I don't think I want my car to look like shit with a big "thumb size" gap between my bumper and headlights.:toobad:
If you're going to do it you might as well have done the full conversion or stick to your original 2Ga headlights.

Dude, dont even start with me again on the Halo's... It is not a big thumb gap like you over state... I cant even tell, and its not noticeable unless you are looking for it. If you never seen the car before, you wont know the difference... 1/2 inch isnt that big at all... width wise I mean... Dont start that whatever crap again...

I agree with Dragon Talon. I have 97+ Eclipse lights in my Talon right now, mainly because they came with the car that way, and it's hard to notice them unless you're up there looking for it. I didn't even notice it at first when I first bought the car, but I wasn't looking for it either.

Personally...

I think the gap is funny and the tuners ask what the gap is for. I give them a dumbfounded look and say, "Are you serious?! You dont' know what the gap is for? It actually pushes more cold air into the engine bay, and creates a lower ambient engine temperature... It's okay guys, you should try it out!"

I like the little gaps because I run my engine block heater line through the gap and hide it when I drive. It's still only temporary, but I'm not going to stress about replacing it quickly.

Hey guys, I finally got my car back last week after three long months without it. I still want to get headlights and i'm thinking about getting wheels sometime... What do you guys think?

[Pics too big.]

where did you get your hood from cause it looks like there is a bigger then normal gap on the sides by the fenders
