--Okay, I've discovered a company that manufactures ABS plastic bumpers as well as factory style headlights and taillights for rock-bottom prices. These bumpers are exact replicas of OEM equipment, but they are made out of plastic instead of urethane like the factory ones. The advantage of plastic is it's extremely light weight. The disadvantage of plastic is it's slight lack of durability. Just be careful not to scrape! The headlights are also exact factory replicas and should be considered as a better alternative to those ugly projectors that dont light up the road very well from what I hear. This should make all our Talon to Eclipse conversions (or Talon 2gA to Talon 2gB) much cheaper. Yes, yes, I know, I am truly a very generous person in sharing this knowledge with my fellow DSM brethren. No need to thank me. Too bad DSM talk banned me so now they don't get to know. They can rot in hell anyway. So here's the deal:

97-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse headlights: $182.00 each
97-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse front bumper: $202.00
97-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse rear bumper: $212.00
95-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse taillights: $63.00 each

--The only things they don't have are the reverse lights, side skirts, and the middle part of the taillights. You're on your own trying to find those and I would guess that DSMtrader would be the cheapest way to find those. But then again you can always call Conicelli for their 25% DSM discount.
--The aftermarket parts company is called:
----------------------BODY MASTER
---------------------1-800-223-0171
--Genuine Mitsubishi parts with 25% DSM discount call:
--------------------Conicelli Mitsubishi
---------------------1-866-221-0913

This thread, in my humble opinion, should be a sticky. I encourage any moderators who agree to please stickify.

Good- Thanks for reminding me about the wing! It seems I forgot to mention that. This place doesn't have side skirts so I doubt they'll have the wing, and you DO NOT want to go to any dealer for a spoiler unless you like being bent over and raped. So here is a link to a place that sells the 97-99 high spoiler for $156. I think that's a damn good price considering they sell on the trader for $200+

They also have the 97+ Talon wing and all kinds of goofy rice wings too.

Its cheap but its also cheaply made. I'm not sure I would want to put that stuff on my car even though the cost of it is really low.

--What stuff? The spoiler? If it looks the same as the factory turbo spoiler then who cares how cheaply it was made? If you meant the Body Master bumpers, then I can tell you from experience that it will LOOK the same as an OEM one, but it doesn't flex like the factory one so you really gotta be careful. But hey, at least it's not a dorky fiberglass bodykit that'll require all kinds of trimming and fitting to put it on there. And I'm sure that if there happened to be a deformity in these bumpers they would replace them for free, unlike the no returns under any conditions policy of all the bodykit manufacturers.
--So let's see here, I want a 97-99 GSX but I just dont have $12-$14k to spend on it. Been there, did that- $341 a month payments are not fun. So let's say I pick up a nice 95-96 Talon TSi AWD for $5000 or so. Spend say, $2500 for all these lightweight bumpers and a carbon fiber hood, and then put a fresh coat of metalic blue paint on it. Ditch the AC, cruise, bumper supports, charcoal can, battery tray, sound deadening, and put in racing seats. That brings the grand total to $7500 for a 97 GSX look-alike that weighs in closer to a GS-T!!! Cheap speed!!! I bet this hypothetical weight-reduced DSM would run deep in the 14's with no engine mods to speak of. Add a few bolt-ons and watch it kill Mustangs and Camaros.
--This is my plan. I'm glad I typed it all out here so I can search for this thread later and remember my ideas. It's kind of like an online diary.
