Speaker box through the window...

Hey guys, I feel really foolish for letting this happen, but I want to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Mount that F*#@-in box to the floor!

During a launch at a light the box lurched backwards into the rear window and blew it out all over the ground.

yeah i was pretty shook up about it.

a local glass shop will take the glass outta the blue frame and put it into the black frame for 75 bucks...

man that must have been embarassing. Mine was sliding around in my trunk too. Secured it down with 8 heavy duty screws on each side. Not goin anywhere

I have the whole hatch off of my blue 91 GS

any tips for mouting a ten in my hatch... its just in a reagular square type box

SECURLY mount it to the bottom of the trunk.

I would cut small slits in the carpet, and use a tie down to go around the speaker box.

Check to see if it loosens up, if needed; re-tighten the tie downs.
