spyder spoiler

has anybody ever seen one of the 95-99 turbo spoilers on a spyder? i want to get one but i'm afraid since i've never seen one on a spyder that they won't fit or something:confused

i havent seen one, personally i like the low wing spoiler we have. i am 99% sure that a turbo will fit just fine. body styles are the same, just the trunk space is hacked and backseats changed.

you can put a turbo wing on but you have to fill the old holes with bondo or water will seep into your trunk

yeah i thought so, i just wasn't sure, b/c i know that the trunk lid is shorter than the back of a hatchback. i got one on the way i just wanted to make sure i wasn't going to have to send it back. thanks

It fits, it just doesn't look right.

The coupe is a hatchback and the spyder has a trunk therefore the baskethandle spoiler doesn't flow well with the trunk, only with the hatchback.

It looks okay. It depends on your personal style. I saw one and it had 18's on it and it got a lot of looks. Everyone was staring at it. Most seemed to like a lot. It depends on your style preferences.

i second that, thats like putting a spoiler on your ferrarri or s2000 or z3 or somn like that, it just looks weird

hey guys, just wanted to reply with a follow up to my spoiler. the spoiler won't fit the trunk lid of a spyder. turns out the trunk lid is a bit smaller on a convertible than it is on a hatchback. sucks for me huh.

depending on your car styling theres a wing on NOPI.COM that looks exactly like the turbo wing but it fits on the lower wing so it hasthe lower and the turbo wing all in one. theres an eclipse with corvette tail lights, he has that spoiler on his. very nice to me

I think it looks good. I saw it on a spyder b4. It looks really cool with the top down. Kinda like, HEY, I'm above everything else back here! It's really noticeable, but I think taller wings look cool on convertibles. Otherwise, the front glass is all that really sticks up.

Hey I got that spoiler! And Im selling it. It is a three piece wing shaped exactly as the turbo yet is a three piece that extends a little further across the rear fenders. It also has a LED brake light. Selling it for 200. if anybody interested reply.

I think the main reason that car looks ugly with the top down isn't the spoiler. I think it's the bar that makes it look bad when the top's down. Just my opinion though.
