Hey everybody. I'm selling my 1999 GS-T and two days ago I ripped out all my audio stuff, including my head unit. When I put the stock radio back in, it told me that, because the radio did not receive power for over two hours, I need to input a code to get it working again. Well, I wrote down the serial number of the radio, drove 2 hours to the nearest dealer, and got the code. Then, I punched in the code, and the radio turns on and starts working. However, when I put in a CD (or listen to the radio), I can hear and see the CD spinning and the radio begins counting the track time, but there is absolutely no sound coming out of any of the speakers, not even static. Although I put back in the factory front speakers, I never touched the rear speakers, so they are still hooked up perfectly. I feel like it could have something to do with the internal amp, but I'm not sure. Somebody please help, no one is going to buy the car if there is no sound coming from the speakers. Thanks everyone, I'm open to any ideas or suggestions.

PS - sorry about the long post.

See if a plug might have come loose off of the AMP, this happens to me all the time and found out its one of the plugs coming out of the amp.
