I like stock, LoL. But if I had to get one, I'd paint it to match the car. And I'd only get the hood if I had to. Not big on anything else. But that's just IMHO.

All of you guys are talking about CF like it's a fashion statement thing. Nobody has mentioned trying to drop the weight of their car, and therefore increase the performance. Remember, it originated because it was functionally light. I think CF rules, but it's for its properties, not its looks. I think it looks tacky to have a CF hood on any color car, unless it's painted. It's not tacky to replace everything you can with a CF replacement to bring down the weight of these hogs (My current project will probably weight <1500lb, before CF work, I'm kind of a freak about power/weight ratios).
In SportCompact, they put a CF hood on one of their projects. The stock hood weighed 50some lbs, and the CF one weight 8lb. And the CF one was stronger!!
I'd say do the CF hood, but don't be a poser, do it for a good reason.

I didn't say it doesn't look bad on a black car. I just for some reason like straight stock, LoL. I like the whole entire sleeper look. I love it when they think I'm slow and totally stock.![]()
But it would be nice for the weight savings. We'll see. My opinion is always changing, LoL. For now, gotta work for that turbo upgrade.![]()

Well just one word. The CF peices take weight off. On the stock subject, I will tell you one thing. The body kit if shosen right can decrease the drag factor in your car which will add some to your speed. The wing if chosen properly will provide down force which will also improve you drag coeficient. So stovk is ok nut if your goal is to go fast , then stock does take away from your goal.
IM not a wiseman , but I think Im right. If not please enlighten me.
And for me, currently, is not needed.
