I am planning on installing my foglights soon but I need some help first. If anybody could post up a pic of where the foglight wiring runs on a 95 Talon that came from the factory w/o foglight option. I do think i have the wiring because the switch i got with the foglights plugged right in inside the car. Also, if anybody has instructions on installing foglights on a 95 pleasehelp me with that. Thanx

I just did this myself and ended up not using the factory wiring. Our cars are missing the wiring from inside the dash to the fuse box and from the light joining point to the fuse box. Rather than go thru all that wire chasing and all that mess, I just wired mine together and ran the wires to underneath the fuse box to the tail light fuse and ran it inside factory wire loom. No wires seen but the come on with the tail lights (thereby looking like the "fog light mod" where the are on with the parking lights)

Yes, the wiring is there for the lights themselves, but there are no wires connected to the bottom of the relay space. The wires have to be run from where the hot wires come into one wire to the relay junction and from where the switch just sort of dead ends in the main dash wire harness to the relay junction. Its a royal pain in the a** from what I had pulled apart and seen.

By the way, does anybody know what this plug is for? Found on drivers side near front, i dont think its the foglight plug because the ends arnt the same.

I believe I used 18 guage power wire and grounded them to the core support. Its been a long time since I did these and after seeing pics, I realized that I had no idea what those were for nor do I have any idea now. I did find out with some disappointment that they did not fit in the fog light connectors, as you may already realize. Need any help let me know.

Well i did figure the part out about those plugs not fitting in the foglight connection, however I did find out last night that the connectors for the stock speakers in front fit the connection for the foglights, all I have to do know is figure out the wiring.

Good luck man, I tried for about a week (maybe less) to chase the wiring and gave up. Maybe you're more persistant. Let us know how it works and maybe do a tech write up. Im sure we are not the only ones to do this or even wonder of the possibility.

I may try to chase the wiring, probaly will take more the a week considering my work schedule, if it gets to be too much, I just may have to get it professionally done. By the way, does the service manual for Talons/Eclipses have any help in doing this?

I bought a Haynes manual before trying this and they only give a vague wiring diagram at the back of the book but nothing that makes for much help. But then again, a little help is better than none.

My foglights are not OEM ones (I have PIAA) BUT the idea is the same to wire them. I bought a wiring harness- I think I got it from Radio Shack or Lowes or something. In the kit it came with a lot of wires, plenty of length for all of them, a relay, and a switch...so everything you'll need. It had directions with it but was still very confusing. My dad is an electrical engineer, I had him help me :D

I would get one of those kits though, easier to figure out then the stock wiring.

Out of curiosity, where are you putting the switch to turn them on?

I have the stock foglight switch which came with the foglights when I bought them, it is hooked up in the car already to a wire, but I have no clue where that wire goes
