Not big on them. Like someone else mentioned, I think it's more for show. Although....I admit it would be nice to get out of a tight parking spot with those doors.

I've gone up against the guy in the first link at shows. The doors are kind of a hack job IMO. Popcorn welds, inner door panel looks like garbage. I give the guy credit for doing it, but for god sakes if you are going to lay out 4G's for custom doors, make sure the guy doing it knows how to do good work.

I have to agree that the lambo doors in the first link look like a$$ up close. That was the first thing that I noticed when I saw that car. I was impressed from a distance and then as I got closer I noticed the hack job! Risky move in my opinion. Also wouldnt do that mod!

My brother-in-law has that kit (Wings West Aggressor with "fangs") on his 99 RS and the (Blitz?) sideskirts. Looks nice too bad my sister has to drive it.

I think the lambo doors would be cool if done right. Messy welds that look like garbage for $4,000 that is disgusting. I think flip up doors look cool as hell especially with a body kit. You guys who live in Florida and California or other places with a lot of ricer cars are at a disadvantage with this mod. All of the guys there that like this if they can afford it will get it. Then it will be played out like a "Blitz Kit". Here in Cleveland I could get the flip up doors and basically never see myself. I could almost get the "Blitz" kit and never see myself :laugh: .

When the mod or mods are common place and everybody has it..... it looses its zing or uniqueness. So to me that is what makes it desireable or not. A lot of guys bash ricer mods because they don't like them personally and I can see your point, but some mods get bashed because too many people have them too and they are no longer deemed unique. To the average non tuner person all the stuff is sweet though..............especially if you are trying to attract the oppostite sex.
