From the factory? My buddys uncle worked with a guy that new a kid down the street that was a member of High RPM shifter racing, they knew of 2 but they sold them to a teacher that had a kid whos friend never knew what this was about.

since its a unibody structure youd have to add alot, i mean alot...of supports to do either a targa or convertible...someone on here did it to his second gen but i think he sold it and doesnt check the forums anymore.

Apparently it never got past prototype, which is kind of sad. Looks pretty nice.

At least they did it for the 2G.

and that is why people don't listen to people like you... You have an opinion and expect it to be no other way.. I think it looks good. Going to have to have a daily driver though, cause it is a permanent drop top.. Still, I would go cruising in that.

They never did it was a concept. And yeah I think some one did the targa top, but I'm not sure what gen it was. I seen in one of the early early posts. The car was white.

it was a 2g, i think he used supra hinges (i guess thats the word ) to attach it to the car and everything

if i remember right he's running a 20g on that thing and its awd. not exactly a waste if you ask me.
