talon/eclipse rebar

Is the rebar in a 2g eclipse the same as one in a 2g talon?

Turns out my car is missing the rear rebar due to the previous owner installing an aftermarket rear bumper. I know alot of people take these off for weight savings and to put aftermarket bumpers on, but I found out that an insurance company will deny a claim on your vehicle if its missing. I dont think it is worth it at all so I want to put the bar in.

Does anyone know if the talon and eclipse rebars are interchangable? I need to know as soon as possible. Cheers

First of all, don't bump your threads.

Secondly, I'll check the CAPS part number when I get home, as I don't have CAPS here at work. Provided no one looks it up first, I guess. My gut tells me they are the same, but I'll have to look it up.

Actually, if the car is in an accident, it would be pretty easy for the adjuster to notice that the part is missing. But if we all worried about wrecking our cars, I guess we'd all own Volvo's. Its worth the risk if you ask me. I wouldn't worry about it.
