2g eclipse headlights in a 2g talon

Ok so i had bad water damage to one of my headlights so i decided to upgrade to a set of projection lenses. I Get them in a week ago, decide yesterday to install them with the nice weather and upon doing so i notice the back of the projectors have 2 plug and play pins that are both 2 pin plugs, one on low beam and one on high.. My original headlights only have 1 plug for both.. Is this common? And does anyone have a solution or pitchures of there wire modification.. Thanks

This probably won't answer your wire question, but I think you might have a problem with the fitment of the headlights. All Talons used the 95-96 style Eclipse headlights, and to me it looks like you have the 97-99 style headlights. You're probably going to have a gap. Just thought I'd let you know, don't know if it'll bug you or not. Sorry I can't answer the wiring question. It might be because of the different style headlights but I could be wrong.

The 99 mitsu bumper is being painted, but your right, that didnt help .

possible that those lights wern't meant for your year my 95 eclipse has two plugs just my thought.... i'm sure someone will come up with a solution for rewiring good luck

You could always hardwire them, or use your own quick disconnect connectors. I just picked up a set of similar projectors with similar connectors, and have a 95 eclipse GST, but havent got around to checking out the wiring yet.

hello i have the same projectors as you and im suprised no one has said this yet but you have to use the existing wiring harness off of your old talon headlights to hook up the projectors to the cars wiring harness. But they make it interesting because the harness is ran through the headlight so i found it easier to just take the dust caps off the talon lights and cut the plug off there and the plug off of the bottom of the talon light and solder the two together then this will allow you to plug both the projectors and teh car harness together with this new harness you j ust made..

good answer, i played with them today and saw that for low and high beams all it is, is a hot wire and a ground, Just have to use a volt meter to figure which one is hot with brights on and which one is not.. great answer and thanks for the help
