Mounting Pioneer TS-A6981R

Hey guys, my new speakers came in today. Seems like I'm gonna have a problem mounting them. Is it bad if the magnet touches the car's body? Will I have to pound metal to make them fit? top-mount depth: 3-3/8"

It wont hurt anything - at the same time, denting the metal in behind the speaker wont hurt anything either.
Im thinking they will fit fine tho'
