aerosol primer question

does anyone know if aerosol primer is compatible with non aerosol automotive paints? I have some interior pieces that ive smoothed out and am going to paint with some single stage black but i dont have my air compressor (my dad has it) and i do have some dupli color high build sandable primer so if it will work alright i was gonna go ahead and prime and wet sand the pieces so i can just shoot them when i get the compressor back.

It will work, I've done it a few times when i ran out of primer. I've only done it on little pieces tho.

yeah its just for a couple of small pieces, the big ones will get a regular primer. thanks man
