Im gonna repaint my 96 TSi and I cant figure this out. The stock roofs on Talons are ALWAYS black along with the wing. I want to paint mine that STi black with gold metalic. Do I 2 tone the black or what? Paint the roof and the bottom the same color and just paint he wing normal gloss black?

If you paint the body gold, painting the roof and spoiler black will make an atractive contrast.

I dont think you guys get what Im saying. Talon roofs are always plain gloss black.

I want to paint my car STI black metalic (has the gold flakes)

Do I repaint paint the roof plain gloss black or paint the whole car black metalic.

I think keeping the roof and spoiler plain black would look better than the whole car being black/gold metalic. It will retain that contrast between the body and roof that makes it look sleek.

My opinion is that if you leave the roof the normal black and the body metallic black, it will make the roof look unfinished. Do the whole car up in the metallic black, it will look much better.

Its kinda hard to make a two tone black on black look good.

if your painting the car black... flake the entire thing... it will look rediculous with a non flaked top... Paint the entire car and spoiler.
