front bumper

hey guys i just had a quick question.as everyone knows its hard to find good kits for 1gs exspecially a 90.about a year ago i got a agressor kit and i ended up cracking the front of it(lots of bumps in this town) since it was fiberglass.I was wondering if anyone knows a place online that sales 1g front bumpers made out of polyurathane or what every is stronger these days.any help would be great guys.or maybe a front lip that is made out of something stronger.thanks again guys

unfortunately i believe they dont make any urethane 1g body kits.
someone correct me if im wrong

I have seen expanding foam used in fiberglass bodies in go karts to add strength. This works but if you have to repair it it is a major pain.

does anyone know a idea to make it a little stronger?i was just going to add more fiberglass to the inside but then i thought i would just have more to repair next time it broke. i was also thinking of getting a front lip but i cant find one that matches the body kit does anyone with 1gs have any good pics of a 1g with a lip?thank guys

If you add more fiberglass, you probably won't have more to repair next time, it'll just break in a different spot. I think you're out of luck as far as making the bumper stronger though (sorry). One of the main reasons urethane is more resistant to cracking is its flexibility. Any reinforcement you add to fiberglass will just make it more rigid, and thus more susceptible to cracking. I recommend just re-glassing the bumper, painting it, and driving slowly when on unchartered roads. Its the price you pay...
